James W. Shrope

ASLA - Project Landscape Architect

From initial conceptual design through to detailed irrigation, plant selection and installation, James brings his over 30-years of experience on projects large and small to see the big picture for RGA clients.

After receiving his Bachelor degree in Landscape Architecture from Cal Poly Pomona, he honed his skills at a variety of Southern California firms before joining RGA in 1984.  His experience includes work on many residential master-planned communities, parks, hotels and other multi-tiered projects.

He is a member of the American Society of Landscape Architects and the Irrigation Association of California, and for the past 10 years, he has been teaching Landscape Design, Irrigation Design and Installation, and Drip Irrigation Design at UCR Extension Programs.
